​​      Janna can't remember a time when she wasn't surrounded by art. Her house was always filled with her dad's sketches and paintings and her mom would sing around the house. Janna soon found herself making up her own songs to

​sing along with her mom and was drawn to the world of play pretend.  When she was seven she attended her first Broadway show, "The Phantom of the Opera" and her life changed. While other audience members watched and enjoyed the show, she yearned to be on the stage among the actors. So overcome by the music and theatrical spectacle, she felt an adrenaline rush as she realized it was her dream to be an actress.  As she grew up she constantly immersed herself in theater and acting classes. She was very excited to attend LaGuardia High School and be a part of its Drama Department. After graduating, she continued to train at various schools including, T. Schreiber and Primary Stages. She also participated in a comedic sketch group where she dabbled in writing her own sketches. She has completed several short films and spec commercials, one independent feature, an off off Broadway show and most recently booked a leading/ sereies regular role in a new webseries. She continues to take acting classes in the city, attend several auditions a week, has started a blog and always the optimist, is excited about the things yet to come for her acting career.

Frozen yogurt, late night munchies with friends, word games, dancing in clubs pretending she can in fact dance, mastering or pretending to master random pieces on the piano, small fluffy dogs who resemble snow flakes, her mother's made up feline language, the beautiful uniqueness of curly hair
